Star Trek cruise to mark TV show’s 60th anniversary: William Shatner and other stars roped in for celebration

ECONOMIC TIMES – Star Trek fans have got a major chance to mark the 60th birthday celebration of the TV series on the high seas.

The ninth instalment of popular theme cruise Star Trek: The Cruise IX will be celebrating the nearly six decades since the Star Trek franchise’s maiden TV series premiered.

Much like its previous instalments, the cruise is all set to feature major stars, which include William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and Walter Koenig (Ensign Pavel Chekov), the originals from the 1960s show, USA Today reported.
